Mr. Thalken serves as President of Protégé.  Prior to founding the company, he was employed as Acquisitions and Planning Team Leader at Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc.  From 1992 to 2003, he was employed by Vintage Petroleum, Inc., as Vice President – Acquisitions, Acquisitions Technical Manager, and an Acquisitions Engineer.  From 1990 to 1991, he was employed by Enron Oil and Gas Company as Senior Production Engineer.  From 1983 to 1990, he was employed by Exxon Company USA, in various engineering and supervisory capacities. He has a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas.

Mr. Papke serves as Vice President – Operations of Protégé.  Prior to co-founding the company, he was employed as Operations Manager at Primary Natural Resources from 2000 to 2003. From 1993 to 2000, he was employed by Samson Companies as District Engineer, Operations Manager, and as Production Manager in Canada, Venezuela and USA.  From 1986 to 1993, he was employed by Westcoast Petroleum Ltd. in Canada, serving as a Facility Design Engineer and Production Engineer.  He has a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.

Mr. Griffin serves as Vice President – Acquisitions and Divestitures of Protégé.  Prior to co-founding the company, he was employed as a Reservoir Engineer at Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc.  From 1994 to 2003, he was employed by Vintage Petroleum, Inc. in various reservoir and production engineering capacities.  He has also served as Chairman of the Mid-Continent section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as well as several other leadership positions at SPE.  He has a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.

Mr. Coffman serves as Vice President – Exploitation of Protégé.  Prior to co-founding the company, he was employed as an Acquisitions Specialist/Consultant as President of Doulos Petroleum Co.  From 1981 to 1994, he was employed by Exxon Company USA in various geologic, reservoir engineering and operational capacities.  He has a B.S. Degree in Geology from Eastern Michigan University and has logged well over 1000 hours of related continuing education.

Mr. Jonas, a certified public accountant, serves as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Protégé.  Prior to joining the company in February 2005, he was self employed as a Tax and Business consultant.  From 2002 to 2004, he was a Partner at Tullius, Taylor, Sartain, & Sartain, an independent public accounting firm, where he was employed as a Tax and Business consultant.  From 1984 to 2002, he was employed by Arthur Andersen, an independent public accounting firm, as a Tax and Business consultant and was promoted to Principal in 1998.  He has M.S. and B.S. Degrees in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.

Mr. Holder serves as Vice President – Land of Protégé. Prior to joining the company in November 2005, he was employed as a Senior Staff Landman at Vintage Petroleum, Inc. From 1988 to 1994 he served as Landman and Lease Contract Analyst for Amerada Hess Corporation. From 1981 to 1988 he was employed by Cayman Resources Corparation where he served as Landman and, later, Regional Land Manager. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Westminister College.

Mr. Mahaffey serves as Senior Landman of Protégé.  Prior to joining the company in October 2006, he was employed as District Landman for Questar Exploration and Production Company, from 1989 to 1998 as Landman for Vintage Petroleum Inc., from 1981 to 1989 as Land Manager for Alexander Production Company and from 1979 to 1981 as Landman for Dyco Petroleum, Inc. He has a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.

Mr. McFarlin serves as Technology Specialist at Protégé.  In this capacity, he is responsible for a variety of engineering/geo-technical matters, as well as data management and website development.  Prior to joining the company in September 2004, he was employed at State Farm Insurance where he served as a Property Adjuster.  From 2000 to 2002, he was employed by Vintage Petroleum, Inc. as an Acquisitions Technician.  He has a B.S. Degree in Mathematics from Oklahoma Baptist University.

Ms. Boyd serves as Operations Technician at Protégé.  In this capacity, she is responsible for a variety of operations and production surveillance matters, as well as regulatory reporting.  Prior to joining the company in June 2005, she was employed at Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc. where she served as Drilling and Completions Technician.  From 2001 to 2003, she was employed by Primary Natural Resources as Engineering Technician.  From 1990 to 2001, she was employed by Samson Companies in various operations and engineering technician capacities.  She has a B.A. Degree in Music Education from Northeastern State University.

Mrs. Ridens serves as both Land & Accounting Analyst at Protégé.  In this capacity, she is responsible for a variety of land/accounting matters. Prior to joining the company in May, 2006, she was employed at Vintage Petroleum, Inc. where she served as AFE Coordinator from 1996 to 2005 and then as AFE Land Analyst from 2005 to 2006. From February to April, 2006, she was employed by Occidental Petroleum Corporation to work on their transition team following the Occidental/Vintage merger.

Mrs. Reynolds serves as both Accounting Analyst and as Administrator to the Chief Financial Officer, Mr. George Jonas. At various points in her career, prior to joining the company in August 2006, she was employed by Duke Energy Field Services, Automated Equipment Services, Williams Communications & Vintage Petroleum. She has a Bachelor in Business Administration degree in Marketing from Northeastern State University.

Miss Powell serves as Production Analyst at Protégé  and is new to the oil and gas industry in 2006. In addition to a variety of production data collection and analysis for operated and non-operated wells, she prepares in-house production and allocation reports for allocated wells. She is also responsible for processing and maintaining up-to-date production records for approximately 200 wells in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. Prior to joining the company in December 2006, she served as a Client Service and Account Manager for an investment company.

Mr. Schmidt serves as Production Foreman at Protégé.  He is responsible for supervision of all field operations including drilling, completion, workover and production. Prior to joining Protégé  in April of 2006, Ken had been employed by Vintage Petroleum, Inc. as a District Foreman from 1988 to 2006. From 1978 to 1988 he was employed by Donald C. Slawson Oil Producer, also as a District Foreman. From 1976 to 1978 he worked as a lease operator for Operators Inc. (A Tenneco Co.). From 1971 to 1978 he worked in Oilfield Construction. Ken has experience in all phases of field operations and has worked in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.
